Towards the end of last month I got an idea for the 11 Second Club contest. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s basically a monthly animation contest where people download the chosen dialogue clip and animate it. If you win, your shot gets critiqued by a mentor at AnimationMentor.com.
The main idea was that the guy was an airplane mechanic and he was writing a letter to his sweetheart back home. The dialogue would serve as a voice over for my shot.

I found it a lot of fun to enter. It’s a great way to push yourself while having a hard deadline to meet. I definitely plan to try again in the future.
